We have painted on cotton and silk with thickened dye and it has been great fun. Colleen is showing off her cotton painting.
Rose Marie shared a revision that made a big difference in the 2 scarf jacket. The fit is greatly improved. Her customers are going to love it.
Leslie turned her cotton painting into a darling quilted wall hanging. We all agreed that the black and white striped border was perfect.
Who knew Zentangle could be accomplished in painted silk? Lovely scarf.
Betty's work is being admired by her classmates. This is thickened dye on silk. The mottled effect in the swirl was a total surprise. Sometimes the fabric just does what it wants to do regardless of what we may want. Who knows where it will go from here?
I leave for Italy on Monday . Since I am not tech savvy enough to post from foreign countries this will be it until I return. That doesn't mean we won't all be creating while I am gone does it? NO! NO! NO!
