Work in progress


These are some of the student work being done in class.  They are not yet finished, but just look at how wonderful they are.
 What will we see at "Show and Tell?"
 Leslie got FREE.
 Pat added two more lilies, can't wait to see the results.

 These are the iris I did with the silk just smoothed out over plastic sheeting.  I love the dotty line that happened.
 These poppies (yes, they are supposed to be poppies) were done on stretcher bars.  Because the fabric was smoother and taut the black lines were smoother.
THis scarf was ironed to freezer paper first and then painted with the dye.  Again because the fabric was taut the lines were smooth.  This technique of using thickened acid dye is a winner.  I hope you have your plans for what you will be doing on Wednesday.  I'm excited!
